Utility Scam

Scammers will call pretending to be a utility company, requesting additional funds for lack of payment and threatening to stop service if the payment is not received then and there.

Romance Scam

These scammers will approach people with a profile on a dating app, they will refuse to meet in person, and sometimes make continued excuses for video calls. Often, they request money by faking some personal emergency and then disappear.
